 Meow Lace

I've owned this cobalt blue dress for almost 3 years and this is the first time I've ever worn it. It was always one of those pieces I couldn't bring myself to wear or get rid of. I'm relieved it finally got its time to shine and I do believe I did it justice.

Most days require shock value. Some days require pink fur. This was that day. As well as a entire hounds tooth outfit, which like anything, can easily go wrong. The good thing about these pieces is that the patterns on them don't scream I'm trying to make a statement. But together they create and abundance of monochrome that that anyone could pull off. The pink accessories is just a bonus.

Jeans underneath mini's? Yes that exists. Today was a day I felt like experimenting. Earlier this year I had discovered a photograph of ManRepeller wearing a similar outfit and it was outfit choice I had never thought I'd like but it turns out I'm quite the fan.

 Valentine, Valentine

Everyone has their own opinion on Valentine's Day. I personally love the day. Not for what everyone complains about. I love it because it's an excuse to wear as much red and pink as I please. Who wouldn't want that? Anyways. this is my capture of Valentine's Day in a nutshell.

The Eighties.

This day was one of those days where everything was as cohesive and getting dressed gets. All statement elements I love in a way I feel is subtle but to each their own. I apologize for my blurry photos and for not showing the complete front of my very eighties mohair sweater. I do believe you will see more posts with this fantastic beautifully ugly sweater.

Sometimes we have those days when we've changed so many times in the morning and can't choose what to possibly wear and nothing feels right. This was one of those days. Oddly enough, even though I didn't care for this choice of attire, I received many compliments. Go figure.
