Vivian Maier "Street Photographer"
Since I first saw a feature on Fashion Television about Vivian Maier, I have idolized her photos. She is known as a master at her craft without any proper schooling on the art of photography. Her pictures are in marvelous abundance and capture such a simple beauty on the streets of where she lived most of her life. The photos I'm featuring are a few of my favourites of her incredible work. The book shown is sold at Chapters and is quite the read and even the pages that are just pictures (because most of her pictures are without a purpose) tell a story all on their own and leaves you with questions that could never be answered but what you see is something that will stay with you and leave you in awe. She is a silent character with much to say and yet so little. She will be remembered as wonderful photographer with the least amount of effort.
